Privacy policy
Buurtzorg International respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and what your choices are.

Who is responsible
This website is run by Buurtzorg International, part of Buurtzorg Nederland, Twentelaan 15, 7609 RE Almelo, the Netherlands. If you have a question about your privacy, please send us a message through our contact page.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, organisation and country (if you fill them in) and your message. We use this only to answer you.
Book suggestions. When you send a suggestion for Jos de Blok's new book, we receive your suggestion, the topics you tick and, if you choose to give them, your name, role, country and email address. We use this to shape the book and the Q&A webinar. If you tick “Let me know when the book is out”, we use your email address only to tell you that.
We never sell, rent or share your information for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer and follow up, and no longer than two years. We keep book suggestions until the book and the Q&A webinar have been published. Email addresses given for the book announcement are deleted once we have sent that message.
Visitor statistics
We use Webflow Analyze to understand how the website is used: how many people visit, which pages they read, and general information such as country, type of device and the website that sent them to us. Webflow Analyze does not use advertising cookies; it keeps a random identifier in your browser's local storage so that repeat visits are counted once. We use these statistics only to improve the website and never to identify you. We do not use advertising or remarketing tools.
Cookies and technical data
The website sets one strictly necessary cookie from Cloudflare (_cfuvid), which protects our forms against spam and automated abuse. Like every website, our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
Services we use
Webflow hosts the website, stores form messages and provides the visitor statistics. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by people, not bots. Google Fonts supplies the website's typeface, so your browser downloads it from Google, which receives your IP address. On the contact page, the world map loads map software from unpkg.com and jsdelivr.net and flag images from flagcdn.com. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube and other websites only share information with those sites when you click them.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, including in the United States. Where that is the case, your information is protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Send us a message through our contact page and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
